  4. Hi Madison! Did you try all possibilities I listed? Which exact tip you used? How long the stain was on the carpet until you realised? If none of the methods work (please make sure to try everything), you should get it to professional dry cleaning. Hope your carpet gets cleaned!

  5. Hey Shellia, I feel your pain. Many girls are having these issues after trying to apply all of the solutions I stated here. Sometimes, a person can have a troublematic water, or an allergic reaction from something in close proximity (cases were reported that some experienced shower curtains with some chemicals inside that caused allergic reactions which manifested as blotches). Knowing and understanding your skin can sometimes be tedious, demanding process, and you should persevere through it until you find the culprit of the problem. Try to consult with a skin care professional – it might give you some additional resources. I hope you’ll get this issue solved!

  6. Hey Syuhada! All except chia are good to go. Keep the chia drink to one per day please. Let me know how it went for you!

  7. Hey Karen, thanks for your comment. You can find epilators in all price brackets, and while there’s always a difference in quality for higher-priced ones, it’s not uncommon to be just fine with devces that aren’t as expensive. It all comes down to what you need and what are you willing to compromise on.

  8. Hey Anna, there’s a simple explanation behind this. Because we’re all different, our skin can react to certain things in different ways. If the fragranced product does cause blotches on you, then you should avoid these types of products. Now, if you do avoid these, that doesn’t necessarily work. Because there are many factors that contribute to the problems and I repeat, we’re all different, one should test the fragranced product and fragrance-free variation as well. On that note, someone might experince blotches from both fragranced, and a fragnance-free product. It all comes down to your personal experience and skin type, your overall health, and various other things. Hope that helps!

  9. Thanks to its excellent moisturizing properties, women have been using aloe vera gel as a moisturizer for decades now so I can say that it is a good substitute for a moisturizer. In fact, it is a perfect option for people who want to keep their skin soft and moisturized without being greasy.

But for acne treatment, it is best that you use a dermatologically proven acne treatment in addition to aloe vera gel. What makes aloe vera effective for acne is its antibacterial properties. It also aids in reducing redness of the skin. However, treating acne is more than just inhibiting bacterial growth—it also requires managing sebum production, unclogging pores, and promoting shedding of the skin. A commercial anti-acne treatment can perform these other functions.

When it comes to scar removal, you should understand that there are different types of scars, but sadly, not all of them can be removed by aloe vera. If you are dealing with a simple scar issue like dark spots, regular application of aloe vera gel can remedy it. But for deeper and more severe scars, your only options are either a scar removal product or cosmetic treatment.

When it comes to stretch marks, you should know that while aloe vera is a skin softener and healing agent, there is little clinical evidence that can prove that it can be an effective stretch mark prevention agent. Because of this, we recommend that you go for a clinically proven stretch mark and use aloe vera gel as a supporting skin product for stretch marks.

But as a pregnant woman, you should exercise caution in drinking aloe vera juice as it can increase uterine contraction which can be dangerous for you and your baby.

I hope these simple facts that I have shared help!

  11. Hi! That’s a good question actually. Thank you for that.

We all know that daily sun protection is a must for all screen types but is extremely important for you since you have rosacea. According to the National Rosacea Society, you should wear it every day, regardless if is sunny or cloudy and even if you are indoors.

The sun gives off daylight from sunrise to sunset. If you stay indoors, daylight comes in through the windows and can find its way to your precious skin, so it is still a must that you wear sunscreen. Although, there is no need for intensive reapplication—reapplying twice or thrice a day will do.

If you are planning to spend your day outdoors, make sure to apply sunscreen 30 minutes before you step outside and reapply it to your skin after every two hours. Since you have rosacea, I advise that as much as possible, you stay indoors when the sun is at its strongest (between 10 AM and 4 PM).

I hope you find this answer useful for your condition. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask again!

  39. We are sorry to hear about this! Some things you can do to help combat this issue I will explain below:

First, you want to make sure during your shaving and exfoliating process, you are not being too harsh with your skin. Make sure to moisturize after with coconut oil (or something similar) and make sure whatever exfoliator you are using on your legs isn’t too harsh. Many scrubs can gave granules of sugar or salt that are too large or rough and can cause tiny tears in your skin. Be gentle next time you exfoliate and try to give your legs some time to heal after shaving.

Next, the reason you have little black dots on your skin is because the hairs are still in your pores, which means the epilator did not pull them out at the follicle. There are several reasons this may have happened—check to make sure you are using the epilator properly and in the right direction and that it is a decent quality device. Also, you want to make sure your hair is still long enough for the epilator to grab onto (but not too long) otherwise the epilator cannot pull any hair out, which is why you still see black dots.

Lastly, a few blood dots are normal. Because the device pulls the hair directly out of the follicle, they can sometimes cause trauma to that follicle, similar to cutting yourself when shaving.

    We hope this helps!

  40. Any side effects castor oil might cause are mild and would include slight redness on the skin. This is why it’s important to test the oil on your skin first before dredging your scalp.

Some people with extremely sensitive skin may experience some skin irritation. The easiest way to test out whether or not you are allergic is to put a small amount on the inside of your arm and wait at least 24 hours.

If you do not have any redness or rashes the next day, it is safe for you to use the castor oil on your scalp. If, after 24 hours, you notice any serious skin irritations occurring, seek immediate medical attention.

An often-overlooked side effect that doesn’t affect your skin is the oil that might ruin your pillowcase if you choose to sleep with oil in your hair overnight. You can put a towel over your pillow if you are concerned about making a mess, especially if you own expensive pillowcases.

  41. It’s easy! For a first-person testimony of the amazing benefits, check out this video of one woman’s experience. She uses castor oil on her hair regularly and walks you through how to use it as an overnight hair treatment.

Most people see the best results when they apply the oil all over their head, from the roots of their hair to the ends of it. Of course, you can adjust this according to any sensitivities you may have.

Like the woman in the video, Beauty Shortcutips recommends using this oil as an overnight mask for the best results. Take it as an opportunity to treat yourself (or someone else) to a relaxing scalp massage.

  42. Hi Tina,

While there is no specific amount of time you need to be using castor oil on your hair to see results, the general consensus is that you should use it at least once every 2 weeks for it to make a noticeable difference in your hair texture. Of course, you can use your own discretion and apply it more or less often, as you see fit.

An easy way to remember to use your castor oil is to apply it on the same day of the week when you do use it (such as a day you might have off work or school).

There is also no set amount of time you should be leaving the oil on your hair when using it. While some people might prefer to leave it on for only a few hours before they shower, it’s perfectly fine to leave it on overnight. Because castor oil is all natural, there is nothing in it that can cause any harm to come to your hair if you (accidentally or intentionally) use it for an extended period of time.

  43. The fast answer is: Yes! Castor oil is safe for your eyes because it is an all-natural product. In fact, it can be very effective in treating dry eyes.

  44. Yeah, Thank you so much,
